Below is an example on the SmartSense web service for a particular cold storage and transport event, where storage temperature was too high (red flag), whereas the transport leg had an acceptable temperature over time, based on the parameters that were set in advance for the particular product .
The sum of these two legs resulted in a red flag for the two legs because the first leg had an unacceptable high temperature. In this way the shipment was rejected before it was unloaded after leg no. 2, since the customer could see at the website after leg no. 1 that the product’s temperature over time was not according to the quality standard agreed in advance between the supplier and the customer.
